No. Insect window screens are designed for airflow and insect protection, not security. If security is the priority, ForceField, Protec or Diamond are more suitable.
Are Insect window screens fall prevention screens?
No. Insect window screens are not fall prevention screens. If fall prevention is the priority, Guardian window screens are required.
What gauze options are available?
Prowler Proof Insect window screens are available with fibreglass insect gauze as standard, with pet proof gauze and micro mesh gauze also available depending on your needs.
Can I choose a pet-friendly option?
Yes. Pet proof gauze is available for homes where pet claws are a concern. We can discuss whether this is the right option for your windows during your measure and quote.
What locks are available?
Insect screen doors come with a latch handle as standard, with an optional 1 point lock available when you want a lockable barrier door for everyday use. Flush bolts can also be added to selected configurations, such as French doors or paired door openings.
How long does manufacture and installation usually take?
Once the measure and quote has been completed and the order is confirmed, the door is custom manufactured in Australia within as little as 1-2 weeks and professionally installed at a suitable time.
